The Community
The fictional town of Selbane is a tiny fishing village located on the Isle of Selbane, an island in the Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. It was founded in the early 1700's and has about a hundred full-time residents. Though the people there are weathered by the sea, they are fiercely protective of their own and steeped in the lore and mythology of their Scottish forebears. It isn't uncommon to find someone who's claimed to see a siren or know someone who knew a guy that had a selkie wife. It is a sea-hardened place full of magic and mystery and secrets. Visit it, and you're likely to find some magic of your own.
